Store Manager
I was contacted about a Store Manager role. The interview process was very casual. They reached out to me, and I wasn't looking for a job. I spoke with a new District Manager, and it seemed okay. Then, I had a phone interview with another District Manager. They didn't seem interested in what I had to say, and the conversation was dull. I was told they'd follow up, but I never heard back, which is really unprofessional. I agreed to interview, but they didn't show respect for potential hires, especially for a Store Manager who would be in close contact with customers.

Salary was not brought up, they simply asked what I had been making. When the offer was made the Regional took offense to me asking for a better offer and insisted that the Commissions and Bonus package was guaranteed to supplement the difference in the base salary. A background check was not brought up until after the offer was made.

Store Manager
The whole thing took about 3 weeks. I talked to the Regional and DM together first, then the VP of Retail about a week and a half later. Got the offer the next business day. Asked a lot about my experience, sales stuff, and leadership. It was pretty standard.
