Behavioral Case Technical

The first round involved an HR recruiter going over my background and resume, and asking about my Excel experience. I haven't done the later rounds, but I'm still in the process. It sounds like the second round will be a behavioral and case interview, and the third round will be an Excel case study.

Behavioral Technical Case Other

I applied online for the associate consultant role. First, there was a 30-minute HR recruiter call to chat about my background and what I'm looking for. Then, I had a 45-minute phone interview with a Manager. After that, I went for an on-site interview with 3 Managers, though one had to cancel last minute, so I met with two. The HR call was a simple screening, and the recruiter was really nice. The phone interview with the manager discussed my CRM and sales experience and included some mini case questions about sales strategy. The on-site involved an Excel skills test (pivot tables, charts, sorting) which took about 45 minutes. My first on-site interview started about 15-20 minutes late, but the interviewer apologized, and we had a good connection. My second on-site interview was with another manager who seemed to be multitasking and sending emails instead of fully listening to my responses, which was frustrating. After the interviews, I spoke with the recruiter, expressed my concerns about the manager's behavior, and later withdrew my application due to a lack of respect shown during the process.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

So I had a couple of phone interviews first, then a big in-person one at the Atlanta office. Everyone was super nice, felt like they wanted me to do well. The in-person was like an afternoon marathon. Started with a VP, then a case study (Excel + PPT), and I had to present it to a Principal and Manager. They seemed to like it, even said 'great job' and shook my hand after. But then, around 9pm that night, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward. I asked the recruiter for feedback, and they just said I needed to 'focus on the case study,' which was weird 'cause everyone liked my presentation. My two cents: make sure your presentation focuses on the client's solution, not just the problem and your models. Anyway, the overall vibe was good, and they let me know quickly, unlike some places that drag it out. But seriously, the feedback needs to be better than just 'focus on the business case.' It’s not helpful and makes you wonder what the real reason was.
