Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The AD Leaf.
Social Media Manager
I went into the office for an in-person interview. They had me fill out a paper application, which felt pretty old-school for a digital marketing agency. The interview itself was fine, and then I had to do a pretty involved assessment. I sent everything in about a month ago, but I haven't heard back at all. It's frustrating because I put in a lot of time and effort. The lack of communication after the interview left a bad impression.
- What type of leadership are you seeking?
Social Media Specialist
The interview process was pretty fast. It involved some phone calls, then an in-person interview, and finally an offer. They didn't give me any take-home test beforehand. Overall, it was a pretty easy process. However, the leadership seemed a bit disorganized and weren't aware of who they were interviewing until the person arrived.
- What's your experience level with paid advertising?
Social Media Coordinator
The interview was professional, pretty detailed, and it lasted for over 1 hour. I provided information around my experience, work history, and educational background. I also asked about the company history, culture, clients, and work product provided to the client base. I felt as though this was a great fit for me.
- Who do you think is the best candidate for this role, and what kind of person are they and why?
