First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Thames Water.
Customer Service Representative
So, first, there were some online assessments and a Team interview where they tested my audio call. Then, they asked me some situation-based questions. After that, there was another Teams interview. The next step was a 2-hour assessment at the office. I think I did well. You should definitely get ready for it, and it's good to know some details about the company and what they're looking for.
- Did you complete the online assessments and the Team interview with an audio call test?
- Were you asked situation-based questions?
- Did you have a subsequent Teams interview?
Customer Service Agent
The interview process was quite thorough, but once I got past the initial stages, I really felt like they wanted me to succeed. They did everything they could to support me through the rest of it. For example, they organized a hints and tips Teams meeting to talk about what would happen in the next stage and give me ideas on what to do and say.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in working for Thames Water?
Customer Service Agent
The recruitment process was outsourced and the agent I worked with was not helpful at all. They would agree to call at a specific time but then call multiple times at a different time. I was also given wrong information about the training dates and location. Because of this, I decided to withdraw my application. I wondered if the actual work environment would be as disorganized as their hiring process.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations to deliver excellent customer service?
