Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TGI Fridays.
General Manager
The interview process was efficient, professional, and detailed. It clearly explained the job responsibilities and what the company offers. I interviewed with the District Manager and then the Owner. I finished the interview with a clear understanding of my day-to-day role.
- Can you describe your leadership style?
General Manager
It was comprehensive and complete. I interviewed with two different area directors since the store I was managing at the time moved frequently between them. Before the interview, myself and two other peers were selected to be part of an 18-month training program to get us ready to be General Managers. Each of us went on to be successful at Fridays and eventually other companies.
- How would you advance the business?
General Manager
It was a quick in-person chat where they told me about the job and what skills you need to do well.
- Tell me about your previous experience at this restaurant.
