Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Textron.
Leadership Development Program
I interviewed at the university career fair. It was a really open discussion with an executive leadership team member. We talked about values and how to approach challenges. It was a very positive experience; I left feeling confident and seen, not just like a candidate number.
- Describe a time you had to manage a stressful deadline or situation at work.
Leadership Development Program
I got an email to set up a phone interview which lasted about twenty to thirty minutes. They asked me basic behavioral questions, like 'tell me a time when....' and 'where do you see yourself in 5 years.' A lot of the questions also dealt with what I had in my resume.
- What makes you a better candidate than other applicants?
Leadership Development Program
I had a phone interview for about 20 minutes. The questions were typical, mostly behavioral, like 'Tell me a time when ....'. A month or two later, I was invited for an on-site interview at EZ-GO in Augusta. It was pretty relaxed and fun. The questions focused more on your interest in the program rather than testing your skills. I think there were four 1:1 interviews with the VP of Supply Chain, the HR manager, the Environmental Manager, and the Material Manager.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What makes you interested in this program?
