Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Textron Aviation.
IT Developer
The interview process was pretty simple. No technical questions were asked. I had one in-person interview and one phone interview. Both interviews focused on discussing my resume, experience, and technical projects.
- Tell me about your experience with Visual Studio.
Software Engineer
You'll get five questions about your engineering experiences, but you can also draw from other jobs. You have one minute to prep while reading the question, and then one minute to answer. If you don't like your video answer, you can do it again, but the first one gets deleted.
- Tell me about a complex problem you solved at work. What steps did you take?
Software Developer Intern
I talked to a recruiter at my university career fair, and they set up an interview for the next day. It was a pretty standard behavioral interview with three employees. They asked common interview questions and about my past experiences.
- Tell me about any leadership positions you've held.
