Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Texas Instruments.
Intern
The interview process was super chill and relaxed. I felt comfortable being myself. Staying calm and steady helped me answer questions confidently. The interviewer was friendly, which made it easy to talk and explain my thoughts. It felt more like a chat than an interview, which made me less stressed and let my real personality and skills show. It was a comfortable experience overall that made me feel open and confident.
- Can you tell me about your background and a previous project you worked on?
Intern
This was a difficult interview, leaning on the tougher side due to the heavy emphasis on systems-related questions. It might be best suited for those with prior experience in systems, rather than individuals with only basic knowledge.
- Could you discuss system design?
- Were there any aptitude questions?
Intern
People with a CGPA of at least 6.0 were considered for the next steps. Then, an online exam was given, which had aptitude, digital, and analog sections. After that, the shortlisted people were invited for an interview, and there were two interviewers on the panel.
- Can you explain combination and sequential circuits and why they are used?
- What differentiates combinational from sequential circuits?
- Could you provide a Verilog code for a sequential element?
