First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Teva Pharmaceuticals.
Sales Representative
I applied online for a Pharmaceuticals Sales Representative role at Teva. The interview process took 5 weeks in total. After applying, the initial interview was scheduled within 1.5 weeks. I was contacted within a week after that to move to the second round. The hiring manager had a busy schedule with current sales directives and asked about my flexibility to wait. The second interview, about 3 weeks after the first, involved two interviewers and some very challenging questions compared to the first. The managers were professional and skilled. My main concern was the lengthy process, the lack of feedback on my status and ranking as a candidate.
- As this role is very autonomous, how do you manage yourself, clients with different needs and locations, and your time versus theirs?
- Considering your previous successes, what discipline system have you put in place for yourself?
Sales Representative
It started with a recruiter call, then I had two interviews with the hiring manager. The whole process felt really off and not directed. The first in-person interview was two hours long. The next day, I was contacted for a second and final interview later that week. It was another two-hour session with the same manager, and we went over the same questions. It felt like there were multiple people vying for the same position and they expected me to beg for it. The questions they asked were weird, and it seemed like they already had someone in mind and were trying to make me not want the job.
- Can you share an example of a challenging situation you encountered and how you managed to resolve it?
- Walk me through a time when you had to convince someone to agree with your perspective.
- Provide an instance of a failure you experienced and the lessons you took away from it.
Sales Representative
There were two face-to-face interviews with the district manager and one with the regional manager. The whole hiring process took about two weeks. A background check and a drug test were also mandatory.
- What contributed to your success in previous roles?
