Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Teva Pharmaceuticals.
Risk Management
The interview was quite open-ended, mainly exploring my previous experiences and how Teva fits into my career path. I didn't get asked about Teva's operations in Israel, and the risk management questions were general rather than specific.
- Can you describe your past experience with the risk identification process?
Manager
Had an initial chat with HR about salary expectations and my past experience. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager. This part was mainly behavioral questions, plus some questions about my work history. I was told I did well and was being considered, but then I heard nothing back. I followed up several times, but no response. HR said the hiring manager was busy with audits, so I eventually stopped trying.
- Regarding the design of a liquid piping system, what is the appropriate velocity?
Senior Manager
The whole interview thing from applying to finishing up went by fast, even though there was a long wait after the last interview. I had to travel to NJ for it. I met great people, like the hiring manager, recruiter, other employees, and the person who scheduled the interviews. The interview itself was super professional. It was kinda invasive though, because I had to travel, miss work, and be away from my family, plus do a whole presentation thing. They said it would be a quick decision, like a few days, because they were moving fast. But I didn't hear anything for like three weeks. I tried to get an update, but nothing. Then they told me they gave the job to someone internal. I think they should have been upfront about internal candidates. It's pretty common knowledge that these jobs usually go to internal people. I learned some stuff from the interview, but honestly, with the travel, it felt like a waste of my time and energy. Still, I appreciate the chance, and I wasn't really surprised by the end result, especially with how long they took to get back to me.
- Could you describe three key qualities you possess that are relevant to this position, and also mention one area where you are seeking improvement?
- What is one quality you are working on improving?
