It was a really nice and relaxed interview process, the recruiters were super friendly and helpful. It was about 20 minutes long. I had 2 interviews in total, the first one was a test.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your academic background?
Translator
The interview started with a nice and easy first stage. I was expecting the second stage, which was supposed to be a translation test, but HR decided to reject my application. They said they were looking for candidates with more experience in translation and proofreading, even though I have 2 years of translation experience, a degree, and experience in videogames. It would be better if they specified these requirements in the job posting to save other candidates' time.
- Do you play videogames?
- What has been your most significant accomplishment in translation?
- Which project did you enjoy the most?
Translator
We started with a relaxed and unhurried conversation with a representative who introduced herself and the company. After sharing detailed information, I was asked about my background from my resume. It was an enjoyable and open interview.
- Are you someone who enjoys playing games?
