Process Engineer
So, first I had a chat with a recruiter. After that, I went into a technical panel interview with a few engineers from the manufacturing and process teams. We talked a lot about solving real problems, using data to make choices, and manufacturing stuff like OEE, making processes better, and finding the root cause of issues. They asked me to go into detail about my old projects, especially ones where I improved throughput, optimized yield, and worked with other teams. The panel really cared about practical thinking, taking responsibility, and if I could make solutions work for making a lot of stuff. They also asked some behavioral questions to see how I handle teamwork and changes in a busy environment.

Manufacturing Engineer
Two rounds, the first one was technical and with a staff engineer, mostly asked about my research experience. supplier industrialization engineer
The interview process was organized, demanding, and very technical. It started with an initial recruiter screen centered on background, role fit, and logistics. Next came one or more technical interviews that went into manufacturing, supplier industrialization, quality, and problem-solving scenarios. A major part of the process was a virtual panel interview that also required a technical presentation. Candidates had to present one detailed project tied to the role, emphasizing their personal contributions, technical depth, decision-making, and measurable outcomes. The panel had engineers and managers from multiple functions, and the questioning was very in-depth. After the panel, there were several one-on-one interviews with senior engineers and managers. These focused on root cause analysis, DFx principles, supplier readiness, cross-functional collaboration, and dealing with ambiguity on very tight timelines. The final stage involved additional executive-level review questions that needed concise, results-focused written answers. Overall the process was tough but fair, with a heavy focus on ownership, first-principles thinking, and practical manufacturing experience. This type of process fits candidates who like deep technical conversations, accountability, and a fast-paced environment.
