The interview process wasn’t really that hard. It was pretty simple and easy to follow. My interview happened over the phone since it was just barely after COVID. It didn’t feel as nerve wrecking as it probably would’ve been if it was in person.

You apply online which is easy. Then you’ll get a call or in my case my manager told me the time and day my interview will be, then we went and sat in an office with two people. They went back and forth asking a series of questions on why I am the better candidate for this job. I responded to the best of my abilities. Everyone was super nice and calming.

I had a phone interview. The day I was supposed to get the call I got a text about 2 hours after my original call time saying they were running behind and would call me the next day. The next day I waited and didn't get a call but a text saying they were behind again and that they would call me in 30 minutes. It was about an hour before they finally called me. The phone guy who interviewed me ended up being my first supervisor there. The call cut off about 4 times during the interview and I was wondering if this was a legit person from Tesla. He asked me a few questions but mostly if I had looked up anything about the position. I had and told him what I saw through my research. Basically he said that since I looked it up that was good enough to pass my name on... I got hired. It was not very professional in my opinion but I got into the factory.
