Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
It was a long interview process, spanning two months, with several different rounds. It started with an initial phone screen with talent acquisition, who was really helpful. Then, I had an interview with a senior engineer to discuss my CV and some technical questions. Next, I interviewed with two more senior engineers, focusing more on my technical skills and how I approach problems. Following that, another interview with a senior engineer centered on soft skills. A HackerRank take-home test followed, involving questions on extracting data from a REST API, creating a Selenium test for page elements, and a list iteration question. Finally, I had an interview with the team manager for a CV review and some technical questions about my abilities.
- Can you describe your method for testing a new product or feature?
- Tell me about your proficiency with Python.
- How would you go about extracting data from a REST API?

Take the reviews seriously. The people here are not in sync, they don’t want to hire but to do time pass. They will ask something which is not in your cv but in their mind to prove that you are not good enough. And if they don’t something which you know still they will say you are wrong just because they are sitting on the other side of table. So unprofessional. After knowing your salary expectations. They will reject upfront that time itself. Worst people, if money was the problem they should have told there recruiters who had already discuss the salary. This is definitely not worth of your time and talent.

QA Automation Engineer
I was VERY HAPPY with the service that I was given by the company, especially with Bethany Perlman, who was very helpful and accomodating through each stage of the interview process. The interview process moved quickly as well. After I applied, I got an email within two days to schedule a phone interview with her. After that, I had a online coding test through hackerrank to complete. Within two days of that I received an invite to a google hangout interview with two members of the team. That happened the following Tuesday and it seemed to go well and was a really awesome experience. I received a rejection email two days after the google hangout interview but was extremely happy with the recruitment process at tenable and really learned a lot!
- Can you merge two strings, for example, given "abc" and "def", produce "adbecf"?
- How would you sort an array of n integers based on the frequency of each number in ascending order, and then by the number itself in ascending order if frequencies are tied?
