I had three interviews with Temenos: first with HR, second with a manager, and a third with someone from another team. The feedback was generally very positive, and the interview experience itself was enjoyable. The salary offered was a bit below market, but I was willing to make the effort. However, after the final interview, I didn't hear back for a while. After I followed up, I learned that the recruitment for this position was ultimately canceled, without anyone informing me beforehand. I found this regrettable, especially since I had completed three interviews. Although the experience with HR was positive up to that point, this situation disappointed me. It gives an impression of a lack of communication and seriousness, especially coming from a company that works with banks.

The interview went great and was very straightforward, conducted entirely in English because the company was just acquired by Engageware, an American firm. The company appears to be an interesting and good place to work.

Behavioral Other

I put in an application online via LinkedIn back in May 2016. Then, in June 2016, I had an initial phone call with a Recruitment Lead. After that, I moved on to the assessment phase, which involved four interviews running from June to September 2016. The first interview was with a Client Engagement Manager, the second with the Global Head of Talent, the third with the Pre-sales Manager (they thought I'd be a better fit for a Pre-sales Trainee role), and the final one with the Global Head of Business Solutions. They also requested a video from me explaining why I was interested in Temenos, and I had to complete a PPA assessment test and submit my academic transcripts. All these interviews took place over Skype, so I didn't get to see the London offices.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • The interviews focused on behavioral questions to assess your suitability for the role and company.
  • I was not asked any competency questions or questions about my knowledge of Finance or banking software.
  • I was informed about the role and its challenges, and asked if I was prepared to take on such a demanding position.
