First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TeleTracking.
Software Engineer
So the interview process had a few stages. First, there was like a recruiter call to get things started. Then, I had a technical interview where they really dug into problem-solving and how efficient my code was. They also cared about how I explained my thinking, especially when I was working through coding problems. It felt pretty organized and legit, and they asked both technical stuff and some behavioral questions.
- How would you optimize a function for large-scale input efficiency?
Software Engineer
After submitting my application online, I waited for about 30 days. Then, the recruiter invited me for an onsite interview, which consisted of 4 rounds: 2 technical and 2 behavioral. The scheduling was very rigid, with only two time slots offered. When I asked for a later time, the recruiter threatened to disqualify me, forcing me to cancel a meeting with my professor, which upset him. Although I felt I answered the interview questions well and the interviewers seemed pleased, the recruiter's feedback was negative, stating I didn't explain technical details when I thought I had. I'm unsure about the feedback's accuracy. Ultimately, I'm glad I didn't join TeleTracking, as I've found a better company. Their salary and tech stack are also less appealing compared to others. Consider this carefully before accepting an offer.
- Can you share the biggest mistake you've made in your academic journey?
Software Engineer
I applied via a staffing agency and received an assessment from them, which was created by Teletracking. It included one problem, class model questions, and DB query type questions, totaling five items. The final interview had two interviewers, each lasting 45 minutes. They began with a problem, and if solved quickly, proceeded to technical and resume-related questions.
- The problem was finding anagrams within an array of strings.
