First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TeleTracking.
Software Engineer
So the interview process had a few stages. First, there was like a recruiter call to get things started. Then, I had a technical interview where they really dug into problem-solving and how efficient my code was. They also cared about how I explained my thinking, especially when I was working through coding problems. It felt pretty organized and legit, and they asked both technical stuff and some behavioral questions.
- How would you optimize a function for large-scale input efficiency?
Knowledge Manager
This was the most bizarre interview process ever. A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and immediately scheduled me for 5.5 hours of interviews with 5-6 people. They said they wanted to move fast, so I had to rearrange my whole work schedule. They wanted to make a decision quickly, but then they ghosted me for 3.5 weeks until I called them out on their lack of professionalism. It takes no time at all to let someone know there's a pause in the process. I've never had such a negative interview process or communication style before. It looks super bad and unorganized for this company.
- How do you handle working with difficult individuals?
Human Resources Manager
The company reached out to schedule an interview and asked if the proposed time worked. I confirmed, and they sent a calendar invite without an email. The interview was with the hiring manager. He asked about five questions and said he'd be in touch within two weeks, giving me his text and email. After two weeks, I reached out via email but got no response. I waited two more weeks and sent a final follow-up with no response. I was ghosted, which felt disrespectful given they encouraged me to reach out.
- Can you describe a typical week in your current role?
Business Analyst
The interview process was really quick and easy. A few days after sending my resume, HR called me for a phone interview. It was to talk about my past experience and see if I would be a good fit for the team culture. The next day, I got a call to set up a second interview with the hiring manager. This second phone call was less than 30 minutes and was another "get to know you" chat about my background. They called within 24 hours to schedule an in-person interview for the following week. I spent the whole day at the office, from 8am to 5pm, meeting with HR, the hiring manager, and two other people from Teletracking. In the last meeting, they told me I'd know within a few business days if they were going to offer me the job. Teletracking called me back in less than 24 hours with the offer.
