There were 2 phone interviews, one with the Director of Sales and another with the VP. It was pretty average. I feel like it could be tough for people who don't know how to present themselves well over the phone, so maybe they shouldn't apply for this role.

Behavioral Presentation

My boss flew in to interview me and we met half way since he had to fly into a distant airport. The interview went very well and his main test was a role play and the selling point was asking for the order. I did not apply for this job my boss pulled my resume of the web and called me for the interview. He is a very fair boss and will do anything he needs to to help you succeed. He understands the balance between work and family and is very supportative in the field.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The Regional Sales Manager reached out to me for a 1-on-1 chat at a local cafe. It was pretty relaxed and informal. He talked about the company and its product. Then, he asked me about my goals, why I was looking for a new job, and my past experiences and what I've achieved. The second part involved a common scenario in appointments where we had to figure out how to save time, money, and fuel, presenting the specific amounts and percentages based on a given situation. It required some basic math skills and was timed. It was a bit more involved but manageable for anyone with basic math. We were there for about 45 minutes, and I was told a decision would be made the next day. I actually got the offer the following week.
