Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Teledyne Technologies.
Manufacturing Engineer
I had a phone interview with a recruiter, then an onsite interview with a panel of engineers. They sent over a proposal after the in-person interview. It was pretty simple.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience and explain its relevance to the role you're applying for?
Process Engineer
The first interview was with two engineers and the hiring manager. They asked common questions about personal traits and handling difficult scenarios, as well as technical questions based on the job descriptions.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- How do you handle difficult situations?
Manufacturing Engineer
I applied for the job through a university referral and heard back a week later for a 15-minute phone screen about the role. Two weeks after that, I went onsite and presented to a panel of 5 other engineers. It was a really enjoyable and not too stressful interview process overall.
- When designing components for cryogenic operation, what key concepts and characteristics should be considered?
