First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Telecare Corporation.
Case Manager
First, there was a phone chat to make sure I was still interested, asked about pay, and the job details. Then an online interview that went over my resume. The in-person interview was tougher and focused on if I could do the job or was willing to learn the important values and how things are done.
- How would you handle a client who becomes aggressive or hostile?
Office Coordinator
I applied and interviewed at Telecare and had a good experience with most of the employees I spoke with. The initial contacts were professional, kind, and respectful. However, the end of the interview process was a bit frustrating. The hiring manager was absent for the first scheduled interview and late for the second. The questions asked, which I tried to answer with emotional intelligence and professional responses, felt like they crossed some boundaries. While I tried to stay flexible and professional, it left me feeling uncertain about the communication and organization of the hiring process. Overall, I enjoyed the interview experience, but I hope the company addresses these scheduling and communication issues for future candidates.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced conflict with your supervisor?
- Describe a situation where you encountered racism in the workplace.
- What diverse demographics have you previously worked with?
Peer Support Specialist
It was two phone interviews and then a web interview. The web interview was pretty easy and direct and it was via zoom. They asked questions about life experiences and scenarios. Two different people conducted the interviews and they email you back to let you know if you got the job or not.
- Can you share your personal experiences related to mental health?
Registered Nurse Supervisor
It was an in-person interview process with two rounds, each lasting about an hour. The first round was with my direct manager, and the second round involved meeting with the whole team. They asked standard interview questions along with some questions about clinical skills. I heard back about the offer within two weeks.
- How would you manage a high-pressure situation?
- Can you describe your clinical expertise?
