I interviewed for a project management job, and my education and experience were above what they required. However, they offered me a much lower position. It seems like this is a standard Telaid scam. Fortunately, I had read reviews on sites like Reddit about how they offer low and will never increase salary or role.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked basic questions to gauge your knowledge and understanding. If you showed drive and prepared, you'd get the job.

I didn't research the company beforehand, which was a mistake. They seem to have high turnover for management roles, posting new positions monthly. I had several interviews, but the process felt very political. The first interview went well, but in later ones, I felt they doubted my ability to handle the job. I believe my experience, including a technical degree unlike the interviewer who lacked a business degree, is far superior to what they handle. I suspect they were intimidated and afraid to hire me because I wouldn't fit into their rigid system. I'm used to managing billion-dollar programs, not just deploying technicians to a Walmart. I sensed nepotism or politics from the start and felt uncomfortable with upper management. They canceled a follow-up interview at the last minute after I'd already had three, citing new job requirements. They repeatedly said they weren't sure I could handle the job, despite my handling more difficult tasks as an intern. I felt I was overqualified and might be seen as competition, not someone who would be a 'yes man.' The salary offered was low. It seems they make significant errors by not hiring capable people like myself, which is their loss, a sentiment echoed by others who've worked there or applied. I wouldn't consider the role even with a substantial salary increase and a perfect job description. Job security seems precarious due to high turnover and employee dissatisfaction, suggesting a need for significant change to avoid company failure. My advice is to hire competent, experienced individuals without large egos. Research upper management's qualifications, as they seem to lack the necessary background. I'm also concerned they didn't have experience in this specific field, but typically, program management roles allow for quick learning and shouldn't be a major worry.
