It was a long process. I started with an online HackerRank test, then a screening call. After that, there was a technical interview and another HackerRank test. There was a significant waiting period. Finally, I had a simple interview with the end client.

I was contacted by a recruiter for a QA Manager role in Tokyo. The first call was casual, and then they suggested a consultant call. During that call, they started discussing other roles, seemingly forgetting about the Management position. I brought it up, and they confirmed there were multiple management roles and that I had to take a QA acumen test, which I passed with 80/100. I also provided references. Following this, they scheduled a third call with a different consultant. This consultant focused on automation, acting as if that was the role I applied for, despite our previous three discussions about QA Management. I ended the call at that point and asked them not to contact me again. This happened before in December last year too. They are not competent or professional, and I strongly advise anyone encountering them to avoid them. They are not worth your time and will only disappoint you. They operate by taking contracts from large companies, hiring people, paying them minimally, and keeping the difference, with salaries significantly below market rates. They don't offer a contract themselves.
