First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TEKsystems.
Business Operations Associate
I went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first was a screening call, followed by a Zoom panel with two interviewers, and finally an in-person meet and greet. Although I felt the interviews went well and I had high hopes, they ghosted me for over a week. After multiple follow-ups, I received a generic denial email. Before the second interview, they did send an email with sample prep questions and helpful tips. Despite being ghosted, all the people I spoke with were friendly and enthusiastic about the company.
- Tell me about a time you faced a problem and how you resolved it.
- Describe a situation where you had to hold someone accountable.
Business Operations Associate
Super easy process, 3 rounds. The first was with the recruiter, the second was with an internal recruiter/account manager, and the last was with 2 upper management individuals. All of the interviews had a great flow. There were only a couple of "describe a time where" questions. After that, it was more personable, asking about personal life, previous experience, and what knowledge you gained from roles. The initial call with the recruiter is more of a feel for what position they think you’d be good at. After that call, they will send you an informational packet about the company. STUDY IT!
- Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?
- What's your understanding of this role and TEKsystems?
- How proficient are you with Excel?
Business Operations Associate
It started with a 15min phone call with a recruiter, which wasn't really an interview but more of a chat to see if I was interested and to schedule the next steps. Then there was a 30min call with the same recruiter where they gave me tips on what to prepare for. The third interview was virtual with company employees, but their Webex links were outdated and kept crashing, causing a reschedule. After finally getting through, the 45min interview went smoothly, and I answered everything as practiced. However, I was passed over pretty quickly. Reflecting on it, I suspect they weren't actually hiring since the same job posting has been up for 3 months.
- Can you share an instance where you had to overcome a challenge?
