Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TeKnowledge.
Technical Lead
The interview process was really smooth and transparent. They explained the job role clearly, and feedback was given promptly and professionally. The questions asked were relevant to the role.
- Did I understand the role correctly?
Software Engineer
The hiring and recruiting process was quite simple and interesting. I enjoyed every stage and the interviewers were nice and professional too. It started with a telephone screening which went quite well and then subsequently a skype with one of the senior engineer. I received an offer but declined the offer after a proper consideration. Salary was a little low when compared to the cost of living in malta . According to the terms of the contract, i will also be responsible for relocation expenses, rent et al. The salary would definitely not cover all this expenses.
- Can you tell me about your knowledge of computer skills such as databases, Microsoft office, and general computer knowledge?
- Do you have any programming knowledge?
Software Developer
Got a call from the company a few hours after applying and they set up an interview for the next day. The interview had two people, one for the technical stuff (like what the project is and the tech they use) and another for HR questions. The test was pretty easy, mostly basic Java questions. The interviewers were nice and told me a bit about the project they're hiring for, how the teams work together, and the technologies involved.
- Can you describe your experience on major projects?
- Have you previously worked in large international teams?
