Software Development Engineer
The interview process consisted of three rounds. The first round was an aptitude or online test covering quantitative and logical reasoning, along with basic programming MCQs. The second round was a technical interview that delved into resume-based questions, Java/Python concepts, DBMS/MySQL knowledge, and coding challenges. The final round was an HR interview focusing on communication skills, confidence, and career goals.
- Tell me about your resume.
- What do you know about Java / Python?
- What is your understanding of DBMS / MySQL?
Software Engineer
The interview process included a recruiter call and a technical screen. During the technical screen, we discussed SDLC concepts, including tasks in the Coding phase like writing code, following standards, unit testing, using Git, code review, and debugging. We also covered CMM maturity levels (Initial, Repeatable, Defined, Managed, Optimizing) and the scope of a project, which defines boundaries, deliverables, features, and timeline, with an example of a voice-based prescription system scope. Finally, there was an opportunity to ask questions about potential projects, company support for certifications, and current team technologies.
- What tasks are performed during the Coding phase of the Software Development Life Cycle?
- Could you explain the Maturity Levels within the Capability Maturity Model (CMM)?
- What exactly is the Scope of a Project?
Software Engineer Intern
Basically the interview process has 3 rounds, 2 technical rounds and 1 HR round. In the first round, they asked about the project, and in the second round, they asked about the technical stuff.
- Can you tell me about the projects you've worked on during college?
