First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ted Baker London.
Customer Service Agent
Had a telephone interview and then a face-to-face one at the Camden office. The questions were pretty standard in both. They asked pretty much the same things over the phone as they did in person. The guy, Dom, was really nice and helpful, but the woman I spoke to wasn't into it at all, seemed totally uninterested and made things really awkward, which made it hard to answer properly. Honestly, how some people end up in customer service is a mystery!

- What are your weaknesses or reasons we shouldn't hire you?
Customer Support Representative
It was more of a chat than a formal interview, which made things feel pretty relaxed. They asked about my past customer service work and how I handle teamwork. They also wanted to know how I'd deal with tough customer questions on my own. They seemed really keen on getting a sense of my personality to make sure I'd fit in with the team and company vibe.
- In your opinion, what constitutes a positive customer experience?
Customer Service Representative
It was easy and friendly - a great experience. They asked the right questions, and we got to know each other, making the interview process feel constructive. I got quick feedback from the hiring manager and accepted an offer soon after.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered and how you managed it?
