Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Techtronic Industries.
Leadership Development Program
It was a 2 stage process. First was an initial screening and the second was with the Senior Manager and HR. The process was smooth and no hassle, but the expectations were different. The company was clear with what they wanted and were quite flexible.
- Tell me about your previous leadership experiences.
Leadership Development Program
They were very thorough and made it clear that they cared about my needs beyond any other company's efforts. There were several stages that became repetitive, but the final interview stage in Milwaukee was very fun. It seemed like the people genuinely enjoyed their job and enjoyed spending time with each other, and I felt like I was able to learn about the nuances of a company beyond other experiences I've had.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Leadership Development Program
My first interview was in person with two members who were recruiting at my university. They were present for a showcase and booked my first interview the next morning. A few weeks later I had clear communication with the recruiter and was free to ask questions. He then set me up with some higher ups a few weeks later. I had 2 following interviews, each about 20 minutes back to back. It was no pressure and felt like they really wanted to get to know me and offer more insight.
- Can you share an instance where you took initiative, either on campus or in your personal life recently?
