Leadership Development Program
I was contacted by a recruiter who stated that there were no openings in my preferred location, the Sacramento area. I let them know that I could only consider jobs in that region. Later, I got a call about an opening that had become available and we set up an interview. The interview process went well, and I was informed that someone would call me to set up a second interview. However, after a week with no follow-up, I contacted the recruiter and offered to reach out to the next person directly if they could give me their contact info. The recruiter insisted they would handle the follow-up. Now, over three weeks later, and after reaching out again, I have not heard back. I find this lack of communication unprofessional. It's annoying to be left hanging after being told there would be more steps. At the very least, I would like to be told if I'm not being considered anymore and get any feedback from my interview. Ignoring my attempts to follow up doesn't make the hiring process look good, and I think a more professional approach would be to keep candidates updated, even if they aren't moving forward.

Leadership Development Program
The interview process was a great experience where the interviewer made me feel less nervous asking questions why I would be a great candidate to be an intern and what I am looking to gain
- Why do you want to work here?
Leadership Development Program
I put in my application online through my school's website. About three weeks later, I met with a company rep at my university's career fair. We had a scheduled interview for the next day. It was a 20-minute, one-on-one chat. People are saying this "program" is really just a gig selling power tools at Home Depot, but who knows, maybe it opens doors to bigger things. I didn't get picked for the job and never found out why, even after asking about areas I could improve on.
