Behavioral Case

This recruitment process was really disorganized and unprofessional, the HR team didn't seem to care much. It was a mess from the beginning, with no clear internship descriptions, and I had to pick positions without any information. The initial screening involved a recorded interview with 8 questions, 1:30 minutes each, and only one chance to re-record, but you couldn't pick the best take. After waiting three weeks for a response, I was contacted about the wrong internship and brand. The case study felt like they wanted free work, asking for 15 influencers and even including an inappropriate question about Palestine. HR completely ignored my questions about my original application. In the final interview, the manager hadn't even read my CV and offered me 800 euros for an internship that I've done professionally for two years at four times that amount. Plus, the manager mentioned she was planning to leave in two months. Honestly, it was a total waste of my time, so I declined the offer.

The interview process started with a recruiter screening call, followed by an introductory interview with the direct manager. Then there was a written exercise. After that, I had a round-robin interview with three teammates who are mid-level supervisors. Next, I interviewed with the Vice President. Then I had a second interview with the Director, and another with the Manager, and a second interview with the Vice President, and a third interview with the Direct Manager. It felt like a lot of interviews for an entry-level job.

The interview process was great and the people were really friendly. This is an amazing company with tons of benefits. You'll get a good salary, a gym membership, and discounts on all the products, which is really cool. First, you'll chat with the recruiter on the phone. Then, you'll meet the head of the department for an in-person interview. After that, you'll have one more interview before they let you know if you got the job.

The whole thing took more than a month. It started with a call to HR, then 4 more interviews with the team the manager would be reporting to (turns out, it was just one person they'd report to). So, 5 interviews total, all on different days, lasting 30 minutes each with a hard stop. It was tough to ask questions or learn about the job since they cut you off right at 30 minutes. They asked the same things over and over, making me feel like a broken record talking about myself. Thankfully, they were all video calls. If I'd had to go to El Segundo 5 times for a 30-minute in-person chat, that would've been crazy. They should really rethink their interview process to make it more efficient and stop wasting people's time.
