First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Technomic.
Research Analyst
The hiring process is pretty slow. I got a phone interview about a week after submitting my application, then received an on-site interview invitation two weeks after that, then nearly a month after the onsite they sent me a writing sample to complete. During the onsite interview the hiring managers could not give any details on what the next steps would look like or when you would hear back. They do not notify you when you didn't make the cut, you will have to email them about it.
- Could you tell me about your favorite book?
Research Analyst
I had a 3 step interview process. First, I talked to HR over the phone. Then, I had an in-person interview with 5 people. They all had their own questions about my passions for the industry and Technomic. Lastly, I was sent a research prompt that I had to write a proposal for and answer some questions.
- Can you share some examples of how you've applied your analytical skills in a professional environment?
- What are your motivations for working in this industry?
- What attracts you to Technomic specifically?
Research Analyst
I had a phone interview with about twenty questions asked one by one. The interviewer gave very short answers to my responses. Then, the interviewer explained the job and let me ask questions. I heard back a few days later via email after I sent a thank you note. The call was 40 minutes long.
- Can you tell me about your previous role?
