Student Assistant
I applied online by sending an email with my CV, cover letter, transcript, and university registration. Then I got an email inviting me to an interview, which could be in person or online.
- Could you tell us something about your background?
Student Assistant
The interviewer was very pleasant and made a good impression. The discussion mainly focused on my background, resume, and my reasons for applying for this position. I got a great feel for the department and the team atmosphere right away.
- Why are you interested in TU Berlin?
- Why are you interested in a student assistant role?
Student Assistant
You are given a task similar to what you would present in a tutorial session. After a 10-minute preparation time, you present your calculations and are then asked questions by the academic staff. The whole process takes no longer than 30 minutes.
- I was asked about details of the calculation method which I could not possibly know.
