Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TechLink Systems.
Recruiter
It was a short interview, not really testing any technical skills. It was more of a behavioral and personality type of interview. The company was poorly managed and there was no work-life balance. The manager spent more time shopping on Rodeo Drive than doing any actual work. She fired several people because they refused to run errands for her. Her sister, who was the CEO, seemed unaware of what was happening.

Technical Recruiter
I had a phone screen followed by 3 onsite interviews. After the first two 4-hour onsite interviews, they narrowed it down to 3 candidates. Then, instead of deciding, they had us do a 'working interview' for a whole day. It was a weird, unnecessary exercise, but I went along with it because I needed a job. This was the start of a pattern of unstrategic time-wasting that continued after I was hired.

Recruiter
It started with a phone screen, then an in-person interview, and finally an offer came after clearing a standard background check and selecting benefit options. The whole process wasn't too long but felt like it took a while to hear back. The company is great and the people there are even better.
