Behavioral Technical Coding

It was a 4 round process. First, an HR call to discuss my background and skills, with some basic questions about the role. Second, an interview with the Engineering Lead via Zoom to discuss my experience, the problems I've solved, and some basic DSA and coding questions. Third, a 48-hour coding assignment focusing on OOPs design, coding practices, and unit testing. Finally, an interview with the Architect where I had to solve 2 easy-to-medium DSA problems, optimize the code, and handle edge cases. I got excellent feedback on all rounds but unfortunately, they hired another candidate they felt was a better fit.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring process involves about 3 to 4 interviews. It starts with a recruiter call to go over the job details, discuss salary expectations, and explain the interview stages. Next, there's a brief ~30-minute call with the VP of Engineering to ensure alignment. Following that, you'll have a 1-hour session with senior engineering management and the CTO, focusing on questions about management and your background. There was supposed to be a final interview with the C-level team, but I got rejected beforehand. The whole thing happened in about a week.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

So, I had this interview with Tech9 for an AI Engineer role. It started with a screening round, basically checking cultural fit and if my vision aligned with theirs. I passed that. Next was an assignment focused on Agentic AI, which took me hours to complete. I submitted it and got through that too. Then, I had a technical deep dive with their AI Head about agentic systems and RAG pipeline design and implementation. That also went well. After that, HR mentioned a VP round was coming up. But then... nothing. Complete silence. No updates, no acknowledgment, just ghosted. It's so draining to put in so much time and effort, especially on technical assignments, and then get ignored. What's the point of these multi-stage interviews if they can't even bother to communicate results? Companies like Tech9 need to seriously reconsider their hiring practices. If they can't hire, they should just say so, rather than wasting candidates' time and hopes. It's not just disappointing, it demotivates people. Tech9 should really be flagged for this unprofessional conduct.

Technical

First, I had to complete a technical online assessment, which I passed with a good score. Then, the CEO contacted me about my expected CTC and notice period, and I provided those details. After two weeks of no response, I followed up twice, and then a telephonic interview was scheduled. However, right before the interview, I received an email stating the CEO had to attend a meeting and needed to reschedule. The interview was moved to the next week, but on the call, the CEO again asked to reschedule for the following week. I never heard back after that, and I saw the position was closed, which was a disappointing experience.
