First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TeamHealth.
Medical Assistant
My interview with TeamHealth was good and organized. The recruiter told me about the job and what they expected, and the interviewer asked good questions about my past, my clinical skills, and how I take care of patients. It felt friendly and easy to talk, which made me feel relaxed. It was a helpful and fair interview where I learned a lot about the job and how they work there.
- Can you share your experience with patients and helping doctors in a clinical environment?
Recruiting Specialist
The whole process was incredibly frustrating. After applying, I waited three weeks for a response. The recruiter who eventually reached out went on PTO before our scheduled call, so I spoke with someone else who was really nice. I then met with the hiring manager, who seemed disorganized and complained about the previous person in the role. She asked basic questions about my software skills. I was prepared for behavioral questions, but none were asked. The interview felt unprepared. She mentioned going on PTO but wanted to continue and asked for my availability for another interview, then ghosted me. After I followed up multiple times, the original recruiter told me I was still being considered, so I sent an updated resume and a new certification. After another follow-up, I got a generic rejection email. All that effort for nothing, with no explanation or professionalism shown. It showed me how disorganized and careless the internal team is with candidates. I would have hesitated to accept the job even if offered, given how poorly this was handled.

Credentialing Specialist
I got an email from a recruiter saying they were interested and asking for my availability. Two weeks passed with no follow-up on scheduling. I followed up myself, and after another week of no response, I got an automated email that the job was filled. The recruiter was nice, but it felt like a waste of time to prep for an interview that never happened. It was unprofessional to reach out if they didn't plan to interview me.
- What salary are you looking for?
Social Media Specialist
So I went through 3 interviews, each lasted about an hour. I felt like each one went great, and they all told me I was moving on to the next step. But after the last interview, I heard nothing back from anyone. I waited a bit, then followed up with the first person I talked to after a week, then the second, and then the third after about three business days. It's a bummer to commit 3 hours of my time, be told I'm progressing, and then get ghosted completely. I'd totally get it if someone else was just a better fit, but not getting any response at all after all that is pretty frustrating.
