First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TeamDynamix.
Software Engineer
I had a brief 10-20 minute call with the recruiter where we discussed my background and my job search motivations. After that, I was told I'd need to complete an assessment focused on logic, pattern matching, and some math problems to evaluate my problem-solving skills. They suggested practicing beforehand, which I did. I then took the assessment but never heard back from the company, which felt like a waste of time.
- Why are you interested in joining TeamDynamix?
Software Engineer
My interview process with TDX was initiated through Tech Elevator, the coding bootcamp I attended. It started with a brief panel interview involving the three engineering team leads, mainly for introductions with a few basic competency checks. Following that, I had a three-hour on-site interview, divided into three distinct one-hour sessions, each with a different team lead and unique questions. The first hour was heavily technical, including a whiteboard coding exercise (kata). The second hour focused on creative thinking questions that might be unexpected. The final hour was a one-on-one with the director of engineering, covering behavioral questions and providing a chance to ask about the company. Although intense, it was a well-structured process that allowed me to showcase my skills and problem-solving approach while learning about the company and the team. TDX was also commendably prompt in their feedback after the on-site, which was appreciated given I was managing multiple interview processes.
- Can you explain the difference between GET and POST requests?
Software Engineer
It started with a 20-30 min intro call with a recruiter to set expectations. Then, there were two assessments: a personality profile and a timed CCAT assessment with logic and spatial reasoning, kind of like an IQ test. After that, the interviews began with two back-to-back 30-min technical interviews with team engineers, which were conversational and covered the product and tech stack. The last interview was with the engineering director, similar in style, discussing team and company structures. The whole recruitment process was smooth and pleasant; I always knew what was next and it moved fast.
- Regarding asynchronous programming in C#, can you explain how common async problems are typically addressed?
