I met with some Client Leads to see if I was a fit for the job. The process was pretty fast. I talked to two managers. My first interview had a lot of questions and was a get-to-know-you type. My second interview was more involved and had short questions about the actual job to make sure I was right for it. The leaders were both really positive and encouraging.

I went through 3 interviews with Team V: a phone call, a meeting with the team manager, and another with a colleague. It was a really positive experience overall. I felt prepared for the questions they asked, which seemed to align well with the job description. The chat with my colleague felt more like they were checking if I'd fit in with the team's personality rather than assessing my technical skills for the role.

So there were 3 interviews total. First up was the recruiter, then I chatted with the CTO, and the last one was a tech interview with some developers from offshore. The tech interview itself didn't actually involve any Vue.js coding, it was mostly QA style questions about CSS specificity, what a function constructor is, and if I knew about Vue 3 and Pinia. Which is funny because the CTO said they were still using Vue 2. They only asked a couple of Vue questions and didn't even use Codepen. I kinda felt like the offshore team wasn't too keen on hiring locally.

It was a really quick process. I sent in my application and about a week later, I got a call. First, I had a phone interview where they asked about my past work and what I wanted to make. Then, I had to go in for a proper interview. The department manager and director both talked to me. It was pretty short, like 15-20 minutes. After that, they gave me a quick editing test. They showed me an ad that was similar to the kind of stuff I'd be editing.
