Behavioral Presentation

It all began with a chat with the VP of Sales, who was a really cool and approachable guy. We just had an open discussion about my career aspirations, what I found appealing about Teads, and some things about my background. Next, I had a really chill meeting with the Group Manager of the team I'd be joining, where they wanted to get to know me and hear about my past experiences. The third stage was actually two parts: first, I talked with the CEO, Jim, and then I did a mock pitch. Jim is a great person and seems genuinely invested in getting to know everyone joining the company. He asked some really pointed, behavioral questions to understand my career journey up to that point. The mock pitch itself was quite open-ended – pitch either an existing client or a new one about a new business line, whether it was an upsell or introducing something new. The CEO, VP of Sales, and Group Director were all present during the pitch, throwing questions at me to simulate being a media company or agency. They were really trying to see how I'd react and keep my presentation on track. I ended up getting an offer, but I turned it down for another opportunity. Overall, it was a great interview experience, and I really appreciated the effort from everyone involved, from the interviewers to HR and the recruiting team.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had one phone interview, which was pretty laid back. Then I had an in-person interview, and after that a sales pitch. The phone interview was chill and I heard back fast about the in-person. I was supposed to meet with two people for the in-person, but one was on vacation so they brought in someone random last minute. I felt bad for her, but I did my best. The sales pitch was also pretty casual. They threw in a couple of technical questions. Even though they gave me an offer below market, I really wanted to work there, so I turned down other options and quit my job, but then they rescinded the offer right before I was supposed to start. It was a bad situation.

So my interview process was like this; first, we had an initial phone chat for about 30 min with the recruiter. Then, I went into the office for more interviews with the recruiter and the VP of Sales. After that, there was a second round of in-office interviews with higher-ups, and I also had to do a presentation. They then asked for and checked my references. Finally, they made me an offer. It's a pretty long process, but you can tell they really put thought into who they hire.
