First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Teaching Strategies.
Account Executive
I had a screening call and then two interviews with different people. After the second one, I never heard anything back, even after following up multiple times directly with the recruiter. The interviews were pretty casual and fair.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Account Executive
The hiring journey was super fast and smooth. I spoke with both the recruiter and the hiring manager, and they were really on top of scheduling and getting back to me. Our chats were relaxed, and I really appreciated them being upfront about the hiring timeline and what the onboarding would look like. It was great that what they told me matched their actions.
- Can you tell me about your salary expectations?
- What kind of company are you hoping to join?
- What are you seeking in your next career move?
Account Executive
The interview process began with a phone screen with a recruiter, followed by a Zoom interview with two managers. It was a very slow process; I sent two follow-up emails before hearing back. After the next Zoom interview with another manager, I waited about two more weeks. I emailed again and was asked about my openness to a territory in a different time zone, to which I agreed. Then I waited for another two to three weeks without any communication. This made me question working for the company due to the poor interview process. Finally, I received a rejection email without any explanation after investing three to four months. The interviews felt cold and distant; typically, interviewers ask personal questions to understand candidates better, but that didn't happen here. My advice to management is to be more transparent and professional with external candidates.
- Could you describe your experience in the K-12 sector?
