Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TDCX.
Account Executive
The whole process from applying to getting the offer was really smooth and quick. I was asked some basic questions, and then there was a part where we did a role play. It felt pretty straightforward to do well if you were prepared. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Can you describe the most difficult situation you encountered in your past role and explain how you handled it?
Sales Executive
It was a pretty chill interview, the interviewer was nice and the questions weren't too hard. It was mostly about me and what the job description says. The interviewer went over the role in detail. I heard back really fast and they expect a quick answer, so I made sure to ask my questions during the interview.
- What's your strategy for moving 100 kilograms of peanuts from your home to Singapore?
Account Executive
Started with a recruiter call, then interviewed with the Team Leader. During the Team Leader interview, I was asked to "Sell me the pen" - the key is to ask lots of questions to figure out what kind of pen they actually need.
- Describe a situation where you had a disagreement with a colleague and how you handled it.
- Could you sell me a pen?
