A placement firm reached out about the role. The process was super disorganized with several red flags across two interview rounds. For almost a week, I was told to expect an interview invite from the hiring manager, but it never came directly to me and was instead forwarded. The first interview, which was supposed to be an hour, ended up being 20 minutes. For the second level, I was told the interviewer had no time for almost a week and then was available for a small window. The invite was sent late (after 6:30 PM) for a 25-minute interview the next day at noon. The interviewer didn't show up initially and joined 5 minutes late after a reminder. They also didn't enable video, not even briefly. Their LinkedIn profile had no trace. It felt like a dumpster fire, and I would have declined even if they made an offer.

It was a standard online application process, similar to other banks. This was followed by a phone screen lasting about 30 minutes, and then an online super day which was half a day long. The interviews were mostly technical with a few behavioral questions mixed in. The whole process was pretty straightforward, and they made quick decisions on offers.

The process moved quickly. It included standard behavioral and technical questions, and the interviewers were friendly. The first round was a group interview with Analysts and Associates. The second round consisted of two separate interviews, one with an Associate and another with a VP. I'd suggest brushing up on technicals if you're rusty.

For each position, you'll go through about 2 to 3 remote interviews (I interviewed for 2 roles). In each round, you'll meet with 1-3 people, usually those at the same level on your potential team. The whole process typically takes 3-6 weeks. It can drag a bit longer in the summer due to vacations, but everyone involved is generally friendly and communicative if you reach out. After the interviews, there's a background check before they extend a formal offer.
