The interview process was quite straightforward and pleasant. The people I interacted with were informative and friendly, and they were very accommodating, taking the time to answer all my questions. There wasn't any stress involved, and it genuinely felt like they were interested in what I had to say. Overall, it was a good experience with TD Insurance.
- Can you describe your client-facing attitude?
Catastrophe Claims Adjuster
I was contacted by phone to confirm the job and then to set up an interview. The interview was conducted over Zoom and involved two interviewers asking me questions about how I handle situations. They also asked about brand and reputation, and my customer service skills since it's a customer service oriented position.
- How would you manage an upset or challenging customer?
Administrative Assistant
So TD Insurance's interview process usually kicks off with a quick chat with HR to see if you're a good fit and what your deal is. For some jobs, you might have to do online tests – like number, word, or 'what would you do?' kind of things. Then, there's the main interview, which could be online or in person, where they'll ask you about your past experiences and stuff specific to the job. After that, you might have another chat with a manager, possibly working through some scenarios or doing a hands-on task. Once all that's done, they'll check your references before making you an offer. Make sure you know about TD Insurance's products, use the STAR method for your answers, and brush up on basic insurance knowledge.
- Can you share an instance where you had to handle a challenging customer and describe your approach?
Sales Advisor
It was a sales pitch and customer service focused interview process. They also checked my general insurance knowledge and other basic things. It was all really interesting and engaging. I was pretty impressed with how professional and thoughtful everything was.
- Could you try to sell me this pen?
- Can you demonstrate your customer service abilities?
- Tell me about your soft skills.
