Operations Officer
They start with basic questions and check your Excel understanding. They want to know if you are comfortable working in a fast pace environment and open to learn. They hire immediately. It depends on the interview manager on the task you carry out.
- Tell me what you know about TD wealth.
- What are your thoughts on working in a fast-paced environment?
- How do you feel about learning new things?
Store Manager
So the interview for Assistant Store Manager at TD Bank was pretty smooth. First, I had a call with a recruiter, just a quick chat about my background, if I've led teams before, and if I get TD's focus on customers. Then, I went in person to meet with the Store Manager and the Regional Manager. That interview was mostly about behavioral stuff and how I'd handle situations. They asked about leading people, building teams, customer service, and sales. Like, how I've trained people who weren't doing so well, dealt with tricky customers, and helped the branch hit its targets. They also wanted to know if I understood TD's values, like putting the customer first and taking responsibility.
- How do you juggle your operational tasks with giving great customer service?
Teller
It was a really good interview. Just be confident in your answers because you are essentially selling yourself to the company. They really liked hearing about selling and advertising credit cards to customers, so be sure to talk about that. Also, give examples of your customer service skills and discuss your desire to grow within the company.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What can you tell me about selling/advertising credit cards to customers?
- Could you share some examples of your customer service experience?
