First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TCF.
Sales Representative
I spoke with a few people at TCF for this role. First, I had a call with an HR person, then I talked to the branch manager, and finally the assistant branch manager. It was all in one round, and they mostly asked me behavioral questions about my past experiences and why I thought I'd be a good fit. I got the job a couple weeks later.
- Can you share an instance where you had to handle an upset customer?
Sales Representative
It was a really structured and quick process, very professional. First, I went to the branch to drop off my resume and then did an online assessment, which covered my skills for the job and my personality to see if I'd fit the work culture. Then there was a phone interview that was about 30-45 minutes long. After that, I had an in-person interview with HR at their corporate office. The final interview was with the Branch Manager and Operations Manager at the retail branch.
- Could you tell me about your strengths?
- What areas do you feel you need to improve on?
Sales Representative
They contacted me the day after I applied online. The whole process was really quick and easy. I had a phone interview with HR, then interviewed with the branch manager. After that, I did a drug test. There was no flexibility in starting wage.
- How do you manage handling more than one project concurrently?
