The hiring manager called to set up an interview. About a week later, you meet on Teams with a panel of four people, including the hiring manager. I've done over a dozen interviews with reputable O&G companies this season, and this was by far the worst experience I have had. Almost none of them felt like they wanted to be there and like it was more of a chore. I saw maybe one smile and most of them, including the manager, came off cold and uninterested. In terms of questions, they gave little or no opportunity to highlight relevant work experience or technical knowledge, and it was entirely behavioral. Poor experience overall; be wary if you're entering the Washington, PA office.

I got a video interview pretty quick with two people, one from HR and one Engineering lead. They asked me typical questions like 'tell me about yourself' and also how I would go about buying a specific part from the market.

Behavioral Technical

I had an interview with two people who work at Trans-Canada. It began with them asking me about the company, their business, and my goals. They primarily asked behavioral questions about my strengths, how I resolve conflicts, and my weaknesses. I also got a few technical questions about pipeline protection. It was a really good interview. Afterward, they asked for my references.
