Art Director
It was a 5-star interview experience at TBWA for a junior art director role! The team was super nice and welcoming, and they had a really clear idea of where they wanted to take the creative work. They asked some really good, interesting questions that showed they were genuinely curious about my abilities and what I could bring to the agency.
- What makes TBWA appealing to you, and how do your skills match the agency's creative direction?
- Why are you interested in TBWA, and how do you believe your skills align with the agency's creative vision?
- What draws you to TBWA, and how do you envision your skills meshing with the agency's creative direction?
Art Director
The creative directors reached out to me. They invited me to their office. We talked for a long time about my portfolio, my past experiences, and my salary expectations. The negotiation was long, but I got what I wanted.
- Can you walk me through your experience?
- Could you elaborate on your portfolio?
- What areas are you an expert in?
Art Director
I had a meeting that was about an hour long. Three people from the company interviewed me: the Creative Director, a Senior Art Director, and an Art Director. They asked me a bunch of questions about how I do my job. Then, they showed me some examples of work they've done and talked about their process. Everyone was really nice, but I got the feeling they were a bit intimidated by how much experience I have.
- What's your preferred working style?
- How do you approach your work?
