Art Director
Got contacted by a recruiter who asked some pretty standard questions about my background. Ultimately, I never heard back after that. The questions were pretty straightforward, mostly about my previous projects and clients.
- What businesses have you been involved with previously?
cadreur monteur
I applied online and was contacted for an interview at the Boulogne Billancourt location. The interview was quick with 3 people. After several days from the first interview, I followed up by email for feedback. Five years later, I'm still waiting for a response.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience in this role?
Senior Planner
The interview process went pretty well since I got an offer and accepted it. I first met my future boss and some department heads and had some good, interesting talks. But things got worse when I met HR for my second interview. She shared some personal stuff right away which I thought was a bit off, but I tried to ignore it. Then, she told me several reasons why she didn't think I was a good cultural fit for the agency and why she didn't like me. I defended myself as best I could, but I guess she can have her opinion and say it. It just felt unprofessional and made the company's culture look bad. I wondered if I'd have to deal with that kind of criticism on the job. After talking with my department head, I took the job and I've been happy here for a year, really enjoying my team.
- Could you share some writing examples and materials you've made for internal use and present them as you would to their original audience?
- Could you share some writing examples and materials you've made for client use and present them as you would to their original audience?
- How did you present these materials to their intended audience?
Administrative
The interview process was straightforward. It started with a friendly initial phone interview with HR that lasted about 30 minutes and covered all the basics. Right after that, they scheduled a second in-person interview. This second interview involved meeting with nearly everyone in the department, one by one. There was some waiting time between interviewers. During these conversations, I talked about my skills and past experiences in detail. The day after the interviews, I got a call saying I was the final candidate. It took a few more weeks for the position to be approved so I could start.
