So they use this AI thing where it asks you questions, and you answer it, and then it records you. A recruiter looks at it later. I didn't make it to the next round, but I thought the process was weird because you can't really connect with an AI like a person. I wouldn't really suggest it.

It was an assessment day for the Management Trainee Programme, and I chose Quantity Surveyor. There were two sittings for the assessment day, 9 am or 1 pm, I picked the 1 pm slot. There were 4 of us for the 1 pm assessment day as some people apparently didn't show up or pulled out. The day began with introductions where management and candidates sat in a circle and briefly introduced themselves. Then, there was a PowerPoint presentation about Taylor Wimpey. Task 1 involved getting to know your partner by asking questions and taking notes for 5 minutes, followed by a 2-minute presentation of your findings to the management. Task 2 was a group activity where we had to build a bridge on a table using provided materials, keeping track of the expenses for the materials used based on a price sheet. There was a 30-minute break before the 1-1 interview.

Applied online with my CV. Then had a telephone interview. Following that was a video interview where I had to answer multiple questions with a time limit. I also completed online tests, specifically IQ tests. The assessment day involved a 1-hour group/team work exercise and a 1-hour 30-minute individual task, with both being solution-focused. Lastly, there was a final interview lasting over an hour with the managing director and head of talent acquisition.
