Coding

Even though it was an architect role, the interview focused heavily on coding questions, similar to what you'd find for typical Google coding interviews. The interviewer seemed more interested in API usage within Java code, rather than the logic or architecture itself, which felt a bit strange for an architect position. The interviewer also had a negative demeanor, offering discouraging comments instead of encouragement, making it feel like an appraisal meeting.

Technical Technical Technical Other

Recruiter called me for 3 continuous F2F Technical rounds. After clearing, she asked for my details for the offer and told me to resign, promising the offer letter soon. A few days later, she called to say they couldn't offer me the job because they didn't have the bandwidth to match my salary expectations, even though my CTC is below market standards. I've already resigned from my current job.
