Analyst
It started with a recruiter call. I was informed about the process: first a recruiter, then the hiring manager, followed by a panel interview with at least two people, and finally a leadership interview. The whole thing took about 2 months. They also added a surprise "tech" assessment and presentation, and then another surprise "final FINAL" interview with the hiring manager again after the leadership interview.

The interview process was a bit all over the place, not really a clear structure from the start. It felt like they were making it up as they went along, which was confusing. In the last interview, it seemed like they had already picked someone, so it felt like my interview didn't really matter. They said they'd let me know about the decision in a couple of days, but it actually took three weeks to get rejected. That wait was pretty frustrating. When they did tell me, there wasn't any feedback on how I could improve, which would have been nice. So, while the team and the job itself seemed cool, the messy process and the lack of communication were a downer. For future candidates, it would be better if they had a clearer process and gave more timely and helpful feedback.
- Can you describe your general skills and how they fit the role?
Director
The hiring process for this fintech role felt way too long. It took over a month for HR to even get in touch to set up the first chat. Then, after it was all done, they took another month to tell me the outcome, and I got no feedback at all. It was pretty disorganized; nobody seemed to know what was next. One day I was supposed to interview with HR, and then that didn't happen. In the end, there were five interviews in total with different people from the company, both within the department and from related ones. The interviews focused on my competencies and why I thought I'd be a good fit for the company.

Account Executive
Applied for the European office. It was a 4-step interview process. Applied through Taulia's job portal and also reached out to the Head of Recruitment. I heard back from the hiring manager for a 1st Interview. 1st Step: Screening interview - Standard questions about my resume/CV, explaining my strengths/weaknesses, how I manage my time, my work-related achievements, and how I deal with objections. The interview was very laid-back, more of a chat to see if I was the right match for the company (very important). After the chat, I was quickly invited for the 2nd Interview. 2nd step: Technical/Role related Interview - I was interviewed by a Sr. Manager from the USA. This interview focused more on my motivation to join Taulia and how my experiences could fit the role. There were very specific questions that could be answered using the STAR method. I got feedback after 2 days for the next step. 3rd Step: Mock-up call with client - I was given a script and 2 successful calls made by other AEs 4 days in advance to listen and learn, plus more information on the products I would be selling. I would start the call, explaining how I would approach a lead and follow the script. During the call, I would be questioned and given objections to reply to and confront. This step allowed the manager to see my action style for the role. I received feedback after 1 day for the final step. 4th Step: Informal Meeting/interview - I was put in contact with another member of my team. A very relaxed interview where I was asked about my role styles, my experiences, and how I approach different situations.
- Given that we have candidates with more experience for this role, what makes you a better choice for us to hire?
