First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tatcha.
Client Care Agent
The interview process involved roughly 5 interviews, not counting the initial screening. I interviewed with people from the team, technology, HR, and product departments. Everyone was really welcoming and focused on how I'd fit into the team. Given my 7+ years in customer service and background in luxury makeup and skincare, I emphasized my interest in Tatcha's social impact and culture over perks. While I love the products, I made it clear my goal is to bring longevity and my skills. The interview with Peoples Experience was a highlight; they were kind and genuinely interested in my background and what I bring. It sparked more curiosity about the company and its culture. The interview with Digital Product and Design, however, was less positive. They didn't seem engaged with what I was saying and it felt like I needed to have pre-approved answers. It was hard to have a real conversation and felt intimidating. They showed no interest in my experience or how it could benefit the team. The discussion also centered on how the team could improve and suggested I should have been briefed on company culture terms beforehand. Overall, it was a good experience.

Senior Retention Marketing Manager
I found the job on LinkedIn and applied. The hiring manager emailed me to set up a phone interview for the next week. We agreed on a time, and I prepared, but she never called. After 10 minutes past the scheduled time, I emailed her to check in, but she didn't reply. The next day, still no response, so I emailed again to see if we could reschedule. No reply. Weeks later, I saw the job posting again and reapplied. Within an hour, she emailed me back on the old chain, saying things had been hectic and she wanted to schedule a call again. I decided to give it another shot. This time she called. She was cold and didn't seem interested. She said she had other candidates and would let me know early the next week. That email never came. I followed up a week and a half later, but still no response. It felt disrespectful, and it made me question how the company operates and how they'd treat employees.
- Could you share the key performance indicators you use to measure success?
Associate Manager, Social and Influencer
I was contacted directly by the hiring manager, not through recruiters. She seemed to think I was a good fit and said she'd set up a time for me to speak with her boss. I waited over two weeks without hearing anything, then followed up. It's been another week of being ghosted. Please improve your interview process and don't waste people's time. It's terrible not to at least say if I'm not moving forward instead of just silence.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with influencers?
Planning Manager
The interview process was straightforward and professional, with in-depth questions. There were two virtual rounds conducted via Zoom. The hiring manager seemed great, but the workload appeared heavy, with many things still being rolled out for the team.
- What is your experience with planning systems?
